This bear cub was grazing just off the main highway. Mama bear was closely watching just above. When we called out to to get the cub to look our way, mama bear retorted with a very loud GROWLLLLLL. We left...

Ar-Dels can provide all the fishing equipment you will need for salmon and steelhead fishing in northwestern British Columbia. All you need to do is get here - we will take care of the rest.he quarry of choice in this region is Salmon and Steelhead - big ones! From Spring Chinook and Steelhead during May and June to Coho and Sockeye in the Fall, there are almost always fish in the river, ready and waiting to do battle with anglers.

Deloras and Arnold (and the whole family for that matter) have fished these waters since the mid-sixties when they arrived in Terrace from Nova Scotia. They know the area well, they know how to catch salmon and steelhead, and it's not unusual for someone in a local tackle shop to praise them for their fishing skills.  Their reputation is well-earned, as they fish nearly every day of the year!

When we fish the Skeena River, we use our 21' jet boat to gain access to our favorite spots.  Our 21 foot jet boat will take us in comfort to all our favorite fishing spots on the Skeena River.
With arrangements made in advance, we can pick you up at the Terrace Airport. There is really no need to rent a vehicle when you stay at Ar-Dels!  This 4-door 4-wheel drive will deliver you in comfort to all the local fishing spots we'll visit - we will even pick you up and return you to the Terrace Airport.
Once we have your fish back to the house, we would be pleased to smoke them in our certified smokehouse, pictured in the adjacent photo.

Time permitting, we can smoke and vacuum-seal your catch in preparation for your trip home.  We are able to smoke fish using hot and cold smoke techniques.

You can be assured that your catch will be cared for properly.  Here is a view of the stainless steel work surfaces which have been installed inside the smokehouse.

We can even smoke your fish and vacuum seal it for your return home.
